Women in Horticulture Networking Luncheon

Celebrate the power, influence, and entrepreneurial spirit of women in horticulture.

In addition to great company, good food, a stellar view of Boston’s waterfront, and a few surprises, this popular gathering will feature a conversation with esteemed biologist, author, educator, researcher, and scientific illustrator Elizabeth Farnsworth. As Senior Research Ecologist at the New England Wild Flower Society, Elizabeth’s most recent report – “State of the Plants of New England”– is a fascinating treatise on the status of plants and the impact of climate change in our region.

Monique Allen, industry veteran and owner of The Garden Continuum, will lead an in-depth conversation with Elizabeth. These two remarkable women will engage the audience in a thought provoking discussion about what we can do to help protect the viability of New England’s diverse and vibrant flora.
