the growth of the sport in the United States, the Board of Directors adopted a multi-tiered dues structure for new member clubs, which will go into effect immediately. Under this structure, new clubs will pay one-third of full member dues during the first year and two-thirds of the total for each dues category during the second year. Full dues will be required thereaſter. Detailed

Sport Education Several dozen sport education courses are


typically scheduled in instruction, ice making, and officiating each year in various locations throughout the country. Tis season Level I, Lev- el II and arena ice making courses have already been completed with more training to be offered later in the season. In addition, the organization is working on several new training opportuni- ties for coaches. As training courses are added throughout the season, check the “Calendar” tab on the USA Curling website for current offerings. Club Calendar


All club presidents were recently mailed a club


calendar (October 2016-September 2017) to hang in the warm room or anywhere in the facility that is likely to be seen by members. Te calendar was produced to celebrate members of the U.S. Curl- ing Association. Each month features photos submitted by curlers from various member clubs. At the request of association members, the orga- nization has made arrangements for additional copies of the calendar to be printed. Orders can be placed for $10 a copy through an online form
