2 | JUNE 2017 | CEC Inside Your Co-op T MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE

So Long, Good bye It's been good to know you

his will be my last newsletter column and my last

opportunity to address CEC membership on a broad scale. In preparing to leave my position as Choctaw Electric's interim chief executive officer/ general manager, I've given a lot of thought to my eleven months here in southeast Oklahoma.

Please remember, we are all members of the Choctaw Electric family. With everyone working together, great things can be accomplished.

BY KENNETH J. GATES cHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

In this time, I've had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people. From our neighbors to members employees and trustees have made my wife, Lori, and I feel like we lived here all of our lives. In my 40 plus years of moving around in this business, I have never met a finer group of people. Thank you for your sincere kindness.

I am grateful to the Choctaw Electric board of trustees for giving me the opportunity to contribute to the progress made this past year. I have had the distinct pleasure and honor of working with members and employees dedicated to making Choctaw Electric a highly regarded electric cooperative known for member and employee satisfaction.
