HELP WANTED


Field Service Engineer


Simpson Technologies, located in Aurora, IL is seeking a strong Field Service Engineer to commission and service its equipment at customer sites. Travel is required through- out the Americas, Asia, and Europe and ranges 50% - 80%.


The ideal candidate should have a min 5 - 7 years’ experience in an industrial environment with responsibility for machine maintenance/commissioning and experience working directly with customers. Experi- ence in a foundry environment is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude/ability to read mechanical drawings. Strong electrical skills/ability to read electrical schematics. Ability to work with PLCs/HMIs, read PLC schematics, and troubleshoot if needed. Knowledgeable in pneumatic principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of PCs and applications (Excel and Word). Ability to work indepen- dently in the field.


Education requirements: BS Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Have teaching and/or coaching experience • Possess 5 years of hands-on experience in the metalcasting industry • Feel comfortable with speaking to large groups • Be willing to teach at least twice per year and travel


• Wish to participate in a train-the-trainer program, and a yearly evaluation and improvement process
