mational sessions in Richmond, Indiana. Omen, based in Israel, will be hiring 50 people by the end of the year, and is expecting an expan- sion that will add 35,000 sq. ft. to its facility.

(Rancho Santa Margarita, Cali- fornia) announced it has ordered its fi rst amorphous metal molding machine from its licensee, Eontec Co. Ltd. T e machine design is based on a diecasting platform and is complementary to the injection molding machine developed with Engel. Delivery of the machine is expected in March 2017.
Godfrey & Wing (Aurora,
Ohio), has received a contract from MAHLE to supply five HVLV vacuum impregnation systems. The HVLV systems will seal diecast aluminum air condi- tioning compressor components in MAHLE’s facility in Juarez, Mexico. This contract is a result of MAHLE’s need to integrate vacu- um impregnation in their produc- tion line. The systems are capable of recovering 99.5% of porous castings, thus allowing MAHLE to maximize casting recovery.
Bodycote (Macclesfield, United
Kingdom) announced its Chester- field, U.K., hot isostatic pressing
(HIP) location earned, for the second time, the highest level of Nadcap accreditation following the most recent Nadcap audit. The official approval was awarded on February 2, 2017. As one of the original HIP facilities to achieve this standard, the site is now targeting to further extend its merit status.
W.A Young & Sons Foundry
and Machine Shop (Rices Landing, Pennsylvania) has been designated a National Historic Landmark. The facility was built in 1900, added a metalcasting plant in 1908, and closed in the late 1960s.
