FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN—Chicago area foundry machinery manufacturer needs Field Service Technician to work with our customers, to repair existing machines and install new ones. Must be able to read blueprints and schematic diagrams, to determine installation and troubleshooting procedures. Involves use of power tools, hand tools, and testing instruments. Experience with matchplate molding machines and mold handling systems = a plus. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This full-time position with full benefits package includes overtime hours most weeks, with extensive (90%) travel required. Chicago or Northeastern IL residency is not a requirement. Foundry Technical Manager
The Ford Meter Box Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Foundry Technical Manager for its Wabash location, located just 70 miles north of Indianapolis, Indiana. As a part of the foundry management team, the Foundry Technical Manager will be responsible for directly overseeing part of the foundry opera- tions and also have direct responsibility for several technical roles. These roles will include metallurgy, foundry materials, and process control. The position will also have direct supervisory responsibility to lead a team of operators and technicians in an effort to maintain and improve foundry operations.
