Partners Group to Acquire Dynacast Zug, Switzerland-based Partners


Group, a global private markets invest- ment manager, has signed an agreement to acquire a controlling stake in Dynacast International, Charlotte, N.C., on behalf of its clients. Te transaction has an over- all enterprise value of $1.1 billion and is expected to close in February 2015. Dynacast International is a global


manufacturer of small, complex metal components. Te company uses propri- etary precision diecasting and metal in- jection molding (MIM) technologies to produce custom, high volume parts with intricate shapes and tight tolerances. Dynacast has 23 manufacturing plants in 16 countries worldwide, which serve a diverse client base including blue-chip

customers across the automotive, tele- communications, computing, consumer electronics and healthcare industries. Partners Group is joined in the


acquisition by Kenner & Company, an existing shareholder, and the com- pany’s management team, which will both roll over significant equity stakes


into the new transaction. “Dynacast already has a truly dif-


ferentiated position as a global supplier in the precision metal components marketplace and we see exciting potential for further expansion,” said Joel Schwartz, Managing Director for Partners Group in New York.


in Kokomo Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA)


U.S. has officially confirmed a $266 million investment in the Kokomo Transmission Plant in Indiana. Fiat also operates a diecasting plant, Kokomo Casting, in Kokomo. In 2013, Kokomo put out about 300,000 eight-speeds. TorqueFlite trans- missions are available on the Chrysler 300; Dodge Challenger, Charger and Durango; Jeep Grand Cherokee; and Ram 1500.

Québec, an annex to Collège de Trois- Rivières, provides technical counselling and technology transfer to the metal- lurgical industry at large.
