feature was remote monitor- ing: this eliminates the need for the operator to be in front of the system during the entire inspection time. YXLON designed remote

monitoring software, which can be run on 64-bit Windows PCs or tablets. T e software window can be minimized to allow operators to multitask. T ey can check to see if the CT scan is still running or if the results are already avail- able, all without having to return to the system. Other features of the FF

The Yxlon FF35 CT can be used to detect the porosity and metrology of internal structures, such as for this aluminum cast part.

CT Series include the Intelli- Guard feature, which can determine the outer shape of an inspection part

during a typical 360-degree CT scan rotation in 30 seconds. This permits the systems to recognize how close

the object can travel to the de- tector or tube to avoid collision. Another feature is FlexCenter, which allows users to define a rotational axis. HeliExtend, a helical CT feature, can elimi- nate artifacts in long parts that have a small diameter. With IntelliGuard, part manipulation in a CT system is simple. A system health monitor displays a red, yellow or green light to indicate the over- all status of system components at a glance. This feature is also available remotely. 
