Signicast Investment Castings is an indus- try leading, world-class commercial investment caster utilizing carbon, low alloy, stainless, tool, nickel- and cobalt-base steels as well as alu- minum to manufacture commercial grade cast- ings across a diverse marketplace. With quick lead times, on-time de- livery, true just-in-time manufacturing, and un- rivaled process control, Signicast has quickly become the top choice for OEM components. Founded in 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Signicast rapidly outgrew its original facility and in 1993, relocated to a brand new corporate head- quarters in Hartford, Wisconsin. With over 830 employees, Signicast operates six inde- pendent casting foundries and two machining and secondary operations facilities servicing more than 300 customers in a diverse range of markets including recreational vehicles, firearms, fluid handling, off-highway vehicles, and power and hand tools. With its proprietary technologies and fast cycle times, Signicast is one of the most inno- vative and automated commercial investment casters in the world. In an industry where 12-week lead times are standard, Signicast has reduced that time to just 1 to 4 weeks resulting in true Just-In-Time manufacturing; eliminating the need for costly inventory.
