In 1872, The Ohio Stove Company was founded to make wood and coal burning stoves. Although we no longer make stove parts we still operate a foundry in the origi- nal location. OSCO has one of the oldest foundries still operating in the state of Ohio, OSCO Portsmouth (1872), and one of the newest, Osco New Boston (1997). To operate a successful foundry in today’s manufacturing environment you have to be willing and able to invest in equipment to remain competitive. OSCO has always invested in the latest technology if it made sense. OSCO was one of the first foundries to install a Disamatic Mold Line (1983). Recently, Osco has agreed to purchase four brand new D3 Disamatic Molding Machines to replace the four we have. The new D3 machines are the most advanced molding machines being manufactured. For a reliable and dependable Gray Iron partner contact OSCO Industries.
