My Lessons makes it easy for teachers to use the eToolkit’s Interactive Tools and template application to customize and save lessons online. • Create customized lessons to support any existing curriculum and lesson plans. • Add notes and hyperlinks to enhance lesson concepts. • Save, preview, and print lessons to facilitate planning and instruction.
With My Lessons, it is simple to incorporate handwriting instruction into the school day. Teachers have the flexibility to create short custom lessons that support any core content-area lesson.
• Insert hyperlinks to web resources directly into a lesson to provide background information on any topic or concept.
• Create writing prompts for opportunities to write about math, science, language arts, social studies, and other content-area topics.
• Provide focused, coherent instruction that incorporates handwriting skills and addresses multiple standards in efficient, rich tasks (e.g., Grade 2 students edit and publish a handwritten process-writing assignment that draws on evidence from informational texts).
