report to donors CONTRIBUTOR HONOR ROLL
IN 2016, FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR, the MOAA Military Family Initiative (MMFI) surpassed its revenue goal, raising just over $1 million. This would not have been possible without the committed support of contributors within the MOAA family nationwide and through the continuing generosity of our corporate and foundation partners. On behalf of the entire MOAA team, we recognize and honor the generous donations of all our 2016 contributors. I particularly want to thank Col. Patricia Turner Dupuis, ARNG (Ret), and Col. Arville “Arv” Hickerson, USA (Ret), who became Platinum Founding Members of the MOAA Heritage Society in 2016 with unrestricted pledges of $50,000 over fi ve years. MMFI programs touch the lives of over 50,000 mili-
tary families and veterans of all ranks and services each year. We invite you to support our eff orts by joining the “$25-in-’17” annual campaign with a one-time $25 gift this year. If just one-quarter of all MOAA members donated $25 in 2017, all MMFI programs, including the exciting new MOAA Community Outreach council/chapter grant program, would be fully funded. Go to
www.moaa.org/ foundation to donate today. Thank you all for your shared commitment to “never stop serving.”
— MOAA President and CEO Lt. Gen. Dana T. Atkins, USAF (Ret)
THE MOAA LEADERSHIP CIRCLE was created in 2016 to provide year-round brand recognition to corporations
and organizations making significant annual contributions to the MMFI. Leadership Circle members are automatically Heritage Society members and are recognized at all MMFI-funded activities, including the MOAA Military and Veteran Networking Forum, all MOAA board meetings, financial education seminars and webinars, and spouse career-development programs and services — corporate brand recognition reaching over 50,000 military families each year.
