Leadership Forum and MOAA Symposium was
held in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 27-28, and involved more than 115 com- mitted chapter members and their spouses representing all 42 chap- ters within the Florida Council of Chapters (CoC).

conference was to get newly elected members and board of directors within their affiliate to congregate ... to discuss challenges [and] successes, and to ensure we were doing every- thing we needed to do for legislative impact with Congress,” says Lt. Col. Marc Oliveri, USA (Ret), president of
the Florida CoC and organizer of the past four conferences. “Keeping it classy, orga- nized, and impactful were the three goals I wanted to accomplish when I first began organizing the leadership conferences,” said Oliveri. “I’m certainly going to improve upon the successes we had this year and include [them] in next year’s conference.” The first day featured a council
