Local Animal Hospitals Welcome New Staff and Extended Evening Hours I
ntegrative Animal Hospital of Central Florida and Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park welcomes Dr. Deidre O’Malley and Dr. Rebecca McIntosh to their team.
Dr. Deidre O’Malley: “I have been interested in
veterinary medicine since I was seven years old. My childhood passion to help animals became a reality when I obtained my degree from Ross University. I then went on to obtain my clinical experience at North Carolina State University. I have been practicing small animal and exotic internal medicine for the last 10 years, and I am an accomplished soft tissue surgeon and critical care provider. Prior to joining the Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park and Integrative Animal Hospital, I spent numerous years as a shelter veterinarian with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and hold a Master’s Certifi cate in Shelter medicine. In my spare time I enjoy activities, such as gardening, golfi ng, sailing and hiking. I have three dogs, two cats and fi ve fi sh residing with me—and a bearded dragon is soon to follow!”
Dr. Rebecca McIntosh: “I truly feel that pets make the world a better place and allow us to know unconditional love. For this gift that they give, I feel my purpose in life is to return the favor. I received my veterinary degree from St. Matthews University and completed my clinical education at North Carolina State University. I love every aspect of veterinary medicine—and I have a special interest in companion animal nutrition and behavior medicine, as well as preventative care and the preservation of the all-important Human/Animal Bond. As a veterinarian, I believe that being entrusted with the care of a furry family member is a precious gift and the most important of responsibilities. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones.”
