THIS INCLUDES: A WORKING NORTH AYRSHIRE
We will work with partners to make sure that young people have access to a range of courses, classes and qualifications outwith school. We will provide courses that enable young people to have a positive transition from school and community to further education or employment. Young people will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of accredited courses that enhance their learning experiences.
Young people will also be encouraged to have an active role within their community through Pupil Councils, Youth Council, Youth Forums and supporting MSYPs.
A HEALTHIER NORTH AYRSHIRE
We will offer a wide variety of health and well-being related activities that are delivered to young people in their communities. This may be through health workshops, dance classes or general participation sports and physical activity.
Help make families and communities stronger by providing classes and activities that support all young people.
A SAFE AND SECURE NORTH AYRSHIRE
We will encourage young people to volunteer in their school and community. Furthermore, we will ensure that young people are consulted on a range of issues and make sure that their views are taken into account and involve them in the decision making process.
