A selection of AHDB Beef & Lamb’s promotional material is now available to order via the organisation’s online Point-of- Sale Hub. Inspiring items such as the new ‘Guide to Roasting and Carving’ booklet are available for butchers to order and hand out to customers.
National
Butchers’ Week Kick-starting spring is the highly anticipated National Butchers’ Week which celebrates everything that is great about independent retailers. AHDB Beef & Lamb is supporting the week and is advising butchers to embrace the celebrations by running their own promotions. Butchers are also being encouraged to join in on the social media buzz to galvanise industry involvement.
Registered users of the Point- of-Sale Hub can also create personalised posters and recipe cards through the system to promote special offers, such as those running over Easter.
Easter variety Easter is another big event in the Butcher’s calendar that provides a big opportunity for increased sales and innovation. In preparation, AHDB Beef & Lamb is advising butchers to offer a variety of lamb cuts for Easter to meet the anticipated annual increased demand.
