n GLENEAGLES HOTEL, AUCHTERARDER Gleneagles Hotel has opened a new bar (pictured) specialising in bespoke craft beer.


Named after the hotel’s original phone number, Auchterarder 70 opened earlier this month and is the latest addition to the Dormy club- house. The 1920s-style oak pan- elled bar can seat up to 60 people and boasts an outdoor balcony. Auchterarder 70 can also cater


for golf groups, offering exclusive use for morning registration and a post event area for privacy and exclusivity. Two televisions also offer laptop connectivity to project tee off times, scoring and related material. Behind the bar are local craft beers but international options are also available.

n 200 SVS, GLASGOW Glasgow events venue 200 St Vincent’s Street (200 SVS) has opened a new conferencing suite. Located on the fifth floor, the Edinburgh Suite features state of the art technology including a built in PA system, three 150-inch projec- tion screens and video conferencing and audio facilities.


The suite runs the length of the building and is situated on both the St Vincent Street and West Camp- bell Street elevations, allowing the room to be illuminated by natural daylight.


The contemporary décor of the space creates optimum surround- ings for hosting a wealth of various events.


The Edinburgh Suite can be split into three separate event spaces depending on numbers and layout requirements. It can also be used as one space to accommodate up to 350 theatre style, or 220 banquet- style, for a seated meal.
