Carrymate has lift-off
Dr. Gold & Co manufactures the Carrymate range of non- slip safety grips which are designed to handle a load of 100kg per grip. Apart from traditional uses for lifting and carrying flat materials, such as sheet metal, glass, drywall panels and window frames, they are also suitable for handling ground protection mats, portable flooring and stage decks. The Carrymate grips are self-adjusting and cover a range of widths
up to 160mm. Sales Manager Karin Feldges said the company was extremely pleased by the enthusiastic reception that the tools received from visitors at the Executive Hire Show.

Lissmac says that, as construction companies constantly review all available options for cost optimisation, certain methods of working can prove more efficient, such as the use of large-sized stones for masonry work, combined with well-designed handling technology, such as its range of mini cranes. The manufacturer says that its LMK base model can be set up in
approximately two minutes with the aid of a manual hydraulic pump and is immediately ready for operation. With a reach of up to 5m and a hook height of up to 6m, it can handle stone blocks and other loads weighing 400kg. The Minicrane is typically used in tandem with one of Lissmac’s
larger masonry saws or cellular block band saws, enabling one person to cut and transport the materials and build the wall, in combination with the DTS 420 or the MBS 760 saws.
