A walk in the park in Paisley

Working for a local weekly, Jeff got his first Fleet Street break aged just 15 when he photographed Everton FC players on the eve of a cup final at Wembley in the mid-eighties.

He said: “As the Everton players disembarked at their hotel, I was

already taking pictures. Their manager, Howard Kendall, asked if I’d take some photographs for him. This gave me access to the players in and around the hotel.”
