A number of familiar faces and well- known names from the world of comedy are due to appear this year. Jo Brand will take a break from her regular prime time TV appearances while fellow female comic Nina Conti is to perform her show In Your Face. Ed Byrne, Al Murray, Sue Perkins, Patrick Kielty Paul Merton, Alan Davies, Marcus Brigstocke, Mark Thomas and Reginald D. Hunter also bring their material to the party.
The Fringe is a great level playing field, providing an opportunity for emerging talent to rub shoulders and share facilities with established stars, for new material to be tested and new talent to be discovered.
Ones to watch in 2015 include fills monkey, an incredible drum show tipped for wide success, an absolute blast of a show from France coming to the UK for the first time.
Imagine Stomp! performed by Animal from The Muppets with brilliant production values, added humour, juggling and trickery.
Two shows from Edinburgh’s own Wil Pickvance provide a unique musical experience while UK based international circus company Lost In Translation come to the Fringe for the first time along with award winning Australian Grossed Out Game Show offering one of the most anarchic kids shows in town.
