THE STAR WARS ECONOMY
The UK’s third-quarter GDP figures exceeded expectations, with “TV and film production helping to boost the services sector”, according to the Office for National Statistics. The industry has grown by a quarter in this country over two years, thanks to box-office smashes such as The Last Jedi, which was filmed at Pinewood Studios.
