ICS Cool Energy forms dedicated cold store team I
CS Cool Energy has expanded its Hire Division with a management team dedicated to cold stores. The team of engineering specialists that will manage the UK largest fl eet of low to ultra-low temperature containerised cold store solutions is: Ralph Howes, cold store major accounts manager Lisa Townsley, cold store business
development manager, south Kayla Shaw, cold store business
development manager, north Mike Elver, cold store senior sales Engineer. “The experience and knowledge of the cold storage industry brought by this team, will allow them to deliver the support and expertise our customers expect from ICS Cool Energy,” said Andy Delday-Roberts, UK sales manager hire at ICS Cool Energy. “ICS Cool Energy is known for its capability to deploy hire units within 24hours to existing customers and for the back-up and service from experienced engineers. Bringing long-standing experience, our cold store team will ensure
our customers are in good hands and receive solutions that precisely fi t their needs and help them run their operations effi ciently and eff ectively.” Ralph Howes has worked in
asset rental for 25 years, with the last 15 dedicated to portable cold stores, blast freezers and modular temperature-controlled buildings. Proving solutions for storage, manufacturing, and test facilities throughout the UK. Kayla Shaw, has worked in sales for almost 16 years and has been in the refrigeration and cold stores industry for just under two years. From her time in the modular construction industry Shaw brings a wealth of knowledge of modular complex designs that can be applied to cold stores as well. Lisa Townsley has joined ICS Cool
Energy from our sister company Trane UK. Townsley brings over seven years of experience in the refrigeration rental sector on top of several years of knowledge of the health, safety and compliance industry.
Mike Elver has been with ICS Cool
Energy for over six years, and brings over 20 years of experience in the HVAC hire industry. Elver has full appreciation of the demand levels for planned and emergency hire having served various high-level roles and managing major national accounts across the UK including manufacturing, telecoms, retail and major event management companies.

ujitsu General Air Conditioning UK has announced two key changes to its senior management team, with Martyn Ives
promoted to commercial director and Stuart Eagleton appointed sales director. Ives has spent almost 30 years with Fujitsu, including 14 years as technical manager before stepping up to become distribution sales and technical services director in 2021. He said: “I am honoured to be given the opportunity to head the commercial side of the business. Thanks to the eff orts of the whole Fujitsu team, business has grown year on year and hard work will ensure this continues as we enter new markets and develop new products.

believe in both our customer service and products.’’ Eagleton has spent the past 10 years at Fujitsu,
most recently heading up applied sales, Key Accounts. He joined from former Fujitsu distributor Wave Air Conditioning and previously had a 10- year spell at Wolseley, in branch manager, regional manager and external sales roles. He said: “I have worked alongside Martyn and believe we are closely
aligned on how we can move forward. My time at Fujitsu has given me a deep understanding of how the business operates and both the direct and distribution routes to market. “I want to strengthen the relationships we have with our distributors as well as exploring new opportunities in the heating and applied markets. I also want to focus on end user growth and consultant specifi cations. This will in turn help grow our distribution network and increase our market share on core products (RAC/VRF), in addition to heating and applied.’’ Chief operating offi cer Ian Carroll said: “Martyn and Stuart have been instrumental in building the business, and their promotions are richly deserved. With a strong team supporting them and exciting new products on the horizon, we are well placed to make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead.’’
