Samsung appoints HomeServe as heat pump s&m provider

amsung Climate Solutions has partnered with national home assistance provider, HomeServe, to grow its service coverage for its heat pump customers. The collaboration allows Samsung to expand its existing service and repair network, providing homeowners and heat pump installers with the assurance needed when selecting and installing its solutions.


As part of the partnership, Samsung’s heat pump customers will be able to take advantage of HomeServe’s off ering to service and maintain their heat pumps with confi dence. HomeServe’s service plans will be available for all products covered by applicable Samsung heat pump warranty terms and conditions. With HomeServe, homeowners can choose from a series of plans which include annual servicing, technical support, repair services and troubleshooting. Samsung heat pump customers who opt for a HomeServe plan can also rely on a nationwide network of home experts to look after their product.


Samsung and HomeServe together aim to ensure heat pumps are accessible and easily understood by homeowners across the UK. Partnering with Samsung will allow HomeServe to further support those homeowners switching to heat pumps through its servicing and maintenance off ering.

Carrier Solutions UK hosts customers at Japan factories C


arrier Solutions UK recently hosted a trip to its factories in Japan for a group of its top customers and partners. The visit, which took


place in September, was organised to showcase how Carrier’s products are made. The fi ve-day trip included tours of the Fuji and


Tsuyama factories, where the Toshiba HVAC products and the new USX Edge heat pump are manufactured. The group, which included representatives from key distributors such as Cool Designs, Hushon, DYSK, and Cool Solutions Distribution, also had the opportunity to learn about the manufacturing process.


“The Tsuyama site, where the USX Edge is made,


was a real highlight,” said Dave McSherry, Sales Director, Carrier RLC UK.. “This wasn’t your average factory tour. Our visitors were genuinely impressed

with the scale, sophistication and effi ciency of the operation. Seeing the USX in production provided a new appreciation for its quality and the engineering behind it.”


The trip also included cultural activities in Tokyo, which helped strengthen relationships among the attendees. “This trip was an investment in our customer relationships,” McSherry
