Panasonic appoints Mick Langford as UK Country Manager
P
anasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has appointed Mick Langford as its new UK Country
Manager, eff ective 15 September 2025. Langford succeeds John Kellett, who stepped down for personal reasons. With over 40 years of industry
experience, Langford began his career as a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer before progressing into senior roles across engineering, sales, and manufacturing. He joined Panasonic six years ago and most recently served as Head of Sales and Marketing for the UK division. Langford’s appointment comes at a time of strategic growth for Panasonic, following recent
investments in European heat pump production and the launch of new renewable technologies. “The strength of the innovative renewable technologies recently launched by Panasonic, along with our strong networks across the UK, positions the company well for growth,” said Langford. “I look forward to working with the team towards a bright future together.”

UK, Ireland and DACH region, added: “Having worked closely with Mick over the last six years, I am positive that Mick will take the company to the next level and will provide a thriving and strong team to develop the business within the UK.”
Panasonic’s heating and cooling division continues to focus on sustainable technologies, including its Aquarea heat pump range and nanoe X air purifi cation systems, aimed at residential and commercial markets.
Thermofrost Cryo appoints Diker as MD T
hermofrost Cryo has appointed Iskender Diker as its new Managing
Director, bringing more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across the international appliance, refrigeration, and consumer electronics sectors. Diker joins from AGA Rangemaster,
where he held a series of senior commercial positions over seven years, most recently as Commercial Director with responsibility for international business strategy, P&L management, and revenue growth. Before this, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Rangemaster, playing a pivotal role in driving EBITDA performance and expanding global sales operations. With a proven record of delivering sustainable growth and building
strong customer relationships, Diker will lead Thermofrost Cryo into its next phase of development. His priorities will include strengthening customer partnerships, identifying opportunities in the rapidly evolving refrigeration and HVAC markets, and supporting the company’s long- standing commitment to innovation, service excellence and leadership in the industry’s decarbonisation transition.
Commenting on his appointment, Diker said: “It is a privilege to join Thermofrost Cryo at such a pivotal time for the industry. The company has a proud heritage and an outstanding reputation for technical expertise and customer service (reliability). Kane as BDM L
awton Engineering has appointed Kevan Kane as Business Development
Manager, marking a strategic move to expand its precision engineering capabilities across key infrastructure sectors. Kane brings more than four decades of subcontract manufacturing experience, having held senior leadership roles at aerospace specialists Technoset and Techno Group. His appointment follows the integration of Wardtec into Lawton Engineering, part of the Lawton Tubes group, two years after its acquisition. “This is an exciting opportunity to help one of the world’s leading suppliers of copper tube and fi ttings grow its precision engineering arm across a range of sectors,” said Kane. “We are set up not just to be a subcontract provider, but a solutions provider for copper-based infrastructure – whether that is in medical, plumbing and heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, or general industry.”
