Conex Bänninger has re-introduced three new CIBSE-approved CPD programmes aimed at architects, specifi ers, mechanical consultants/ contractors and design engineers. Lisa Cox, National Sales Manager – UK & Ireland, commented: “The importance of Continual Professional Development (CPD) has never been greater. As the UK’s construction industry ramps up, professionals with up-to-date knowledge of the latest working methods and technologies have a competitive edge.”
The three CPD topics covered are:
■ Re-assessing the implications of copper press-fi tting as an alternative to copper brazing for building services. Attendees will be made aware of what’s driving change, together with an insight into improvements and new developments in copper plumbing and HVAC pipe jointing.
■ Designing with materials and methods for MEP Services. This CPD will cover the advantages and disadvantages of modern technologies and how they are changing the way trade professionals work. Among the major changes highlighted is the signifi cant reduction in hot works.
■ Stainless steel press-fi t systems for plumbing applications. The main objectives of this CPD include: the technical and healthcare benefi ts of stainless steel ‘press-fi t’, suitable types of applications and proprietary design and installation aspects of stainless steel ‘press-fi t.’
The CPD training is undertaken at the Conex Bänninger HQ at Global House in Kingswinford, Dudley or at a customer’s premises or third-party location. Interested parties can also attend the course via Teams.
