Hayley Cattell steps up to MD at Beijer Ref

eijer Ref UK and Ireland has announced the promotion of Hayley Cattell to Managing Director, marking a signifi cant leadership transition within one of the region’s leading refrigeration and air conditioning distribution networks. Cattell succeeds John Billson, who was recently appointed Vice President and will continue to oversee UK and Ireland operations while focusing on group strategy.
Cattell joined the business in 2010 as Sales Engineer for the North East of England and quickly progressed through a series of senior roles, including Product Development Manager, where she played a key role in introducing CO2
condensing units. Most recently, she served as Group Sales Director, driving commercial performance, innovation, and team development.

Lochinvar appoints Sims as Northern Heat Pump Specialist

ochinvar has appointed Andy Sims as its new Northern Heat Pump Specialist. He brings nearly two decades of HVAC experience to the role, having started his career as a plumbing engineer before progressing into senior technical and sales positions with leading industry fi rms. His national experience working with specifi ers, consultants, and contractors across multiple sectors positions him to deliver high-value support as Lochinvar expands its renewables team. “It’s an exciting period for

He will work closely with Area Sales Managers to ensure specifi cations across the North are delivered with optimal solutions tailored

following a successful 15-year tenure with the company, most recently as Sales Director. The promotion takes immediate eff ect and marks a new chapter in the leadership of one of the UK’s largest independent wholesalers of refrigeration and air conditioning products. During his time as Sales Director, Dinning played a pivotal role in expanding the FSW Group Businesses and strengthening the company’s national footprint. Under his leadership, FSW UK grew its branch network to 26 locations and developed strategic relationships with national account customers, including suppliers to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets.
