Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric has launched a Climaveneta-branded NX2 range of air source scroll chillers, expanding the NX2 family and off ering improved energy effi ciency and sustainability. As a plug and play solution with low noise levels the chillers are the ideal solution for HVAC plants’ The new chillers complete the NX2 range, off ering a two and four scroll compressor version with a capacity range from 40 to 376 kW. Both options are available with the lower-GWP R454B refrigerant, ensuring high levels of energy effi ciency alongside quality comfort cooling, as well as R410A. The complete range is Eurovent certifi ed and far exceeds the minimum seasonal effi ciency level of 2021 imposed by EcoDesign Directive. The systems have been designed for perfect acoustic wellbeing, and operate at lower noise levels than the previous range, helping them to achieve one of the best sound power levels in the market, while maintaining the same performance and footprint as the standard acoustic version. They are also designed with high levels of seasonal effi ciency in mind, and achieve excellent SEER values that are over 11% higher than the previous range. These values could be boosted by selecting the optional UP kit (Ultra Performance kit), achieving top effi ciency levels on the market.

Emerson
Emerson has launched a new line of Copeland scroll compressors for commercial comfort applications designed for the refrigerant R32. The new compressor range will help manufacturers meet requirements from the Ecodesign directive and the F-Gas phasedown. Emerson’s new Copeland scroll YP and YPV compressors for R32 off er the following features: A unique variable compression ratio valve which reduces over-compression at part load, thus improving seasonal effi ciency both in heating and in cooling.
An optimized compressor design to reduce discharge temperature and achieve the same operating map of R410A scrolls.
The unique double compliance scroll technology which grants superior reliability and enables new features on the refrigerant circuit with Emerson electronics and integrated solutions.
The 20 HP model and above are embedded with a new Emerson electronic compressor protection which is ready for future expansion towards IoT and sensing technology.
The widest range of multiples combination which enable the design of R32 systems up to 1 MW with fi xed speed and variable speed compressors.
Stulz
Stulz has launched its CabinetAir PRT solution. The latest addition to the shelter cooling portfolio, CabinetAir PRT is specifi cally designed to control the temperature in outdoor multifunction telecommunications cabinets by combining the benefi ts of mechanical cooling with energy saving direct free cooling technology. CabinetAir PRT operates at a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C and can guarantee reliable operation, even during extreme temperature fl uctuations. As well as substantially lowering the noise level of active system equipment, its direct free cooling technology helps to signifi cantly reduce energy consumption by using the outside temperature to cool the telecommunications cabinet. Free cooling is particularly eff ective in locations where the ambient air temperature is colder than that required inside a cabinet, and it also enhances reliability - even if the mains power supply fails the active electronic equipment will continue to work correctly. For locations with frequently higher outside temperatures, CabinetAir
PRT combines direct free cooling with mechanical cooling. Both modes are controlled by an integrated STULZ C100 microprocessor to cool down the inside at any time with maximum effi ciency. The STULZ C100 also allows optional connection to a central building management system via Modbus RTU.

Adande
Adande Refrigeration is continuing support for its customer base, through its commitment to ‘freeze’ UK prices for the next 6-month period. At a time when the supply chain typically increases equipment pricing, Adande Refrigeration has committed to holding its current rates of purchase for the UK despite absorbing cost increases in raw materials as a result of global shortages caused by COVID-19. Global sales director, Karl Hodgson explains, “There is no doubt the COVID-19 pandemic is a diffi cult time for all of us in the hospitality sector. Yet, despite the diffi culties, at Adande, we have committed to serving our customers and doing everything we can to support them into the New Year and beyond. Not only have we introduced 5-year UK warranty* across our entire refrigeration range, we have also introduced EasyBuy, a way to spread the cost of essential, high quality kitchen refrigeration. Today, I am happy to add to these measures by confi rming we are holding our current UK prices, freezing them into place. They will not be reviewed until June 2021, at the very earliest.”
