Wolseley Group acquires Logicool
W
olseley Group has acquired Logicool with a view to enhancing Wolseley’s renewables off ering. This includes a
wider product range and training opportunities, supported by the expertise of its colleagues. Simon Gray, chief executive offi cer at Wolseley
Group said: “We are extremely proud to add Logicool to our portfolio of brands. This well- respected business will be a pivotal part of expanding our Renewables by Wolseley off ering to become a full end-to-end supplier, helping our customers on their energy effi ciency journeys.” Logicool will retain its brand identity and will
operate as usual with its colleagues and customers. Logicool managing director, Karl Richardson,
shares Wolseley’s growth ambitions to provide customers with an enhanced off ering for renewable solutions. Richardson said: “Logicool is an ambitious business and over recent years we have invested signifi cantly in enhancements such as increased stock of heat pumps and new state of the art premises. Our continued challenge is to provide the best possible service, invest in new talent within our apprenticeship programme, and be able to supply an increased array of products and services, all of which require additional infrastructure and investment. This acquisition allows access to resources that Logicool needs in order to achieve our goals in an ever-changing market.”
