A success fafactor fofor the nearly 100-year- old company is the fofocus on practical and future-oriented solutions. The developers have alwaysmet the challenges of the past years, which were“widermaterial paths, faster speeds and thinnest, demanding films with the highest quality”with

KAMPF devoted itself not only to the continuous technological improvement of itsmachines, but it also pursues a holistic approach to optimising production and overall plant efficiency. With the goal of

The new KAMPF Production Cockpit (KPC) will support owners and operators of lines andmachines by presenting comprehensive information about the statuses in a comfofortable and accessiblemanner.

Production data are automatically collected, sorted, condensed and evaluated. An integrated server provides password- protected comprehensive infoformation and graphics about the production process, quality and use of one ormoremachines as well as the associated documentation. The user can select location and device, fofor example handheld devices, to view the information individually. Special s ftoftware installations or special IT knowledge will not be necessary. Also the operation of KPC is relatively easy, because the application comes with an intuitive navigation.

The knowledge of such important parameters as energy and overall plant efficiency is the prerequisite fofor the optimal use ofmachines and resources. KAMPF designed KPC as an open integration platfoform, so that further products ormodules - also fromexternal suppliers - can be integrated. The extensive ‘Converting 4.0’project is geared towards the future.
