tested secure online voting form. The Vendies are run by the industry, for the industry, so with no consumer input and no judging panel involved in the decision-making process, winners of The Vendies will be determined purely on the value attributed to them by their industry peers. A new feature for the 2016 competition, the entry statement from each entrant is available at

www.thevendies.co.uk, so those interested can find out more about each nominated company, product or service.

Following a fantastic response, including a number of new companies submitting entries, voting has now closed for the 2016 competition. The shortlist can be viewed on the competition website at www.thevendies.co.uk. Congratulations to all those who were nominated – it is a fantastic recognition of your achievements. Over the past four years, the number of brands, companies and individuals that have taken part in The Vendies has been staggering, showing that recognising innovation is highly important to the industry. The Vendies celebrates excellence, rewarding companies which demonstrate outstanding technology, dedication and customer service in their field. Features editor Bryony Andrews commented: “The format of The Vendies gives participants, whether they are entering a company or voting for them, a voice in the industry. The awards has been designed to acknowledge the achievements of new and established vending and water companies, and the voting format means that winners can enjoy a true indicator of value as conferred by their peers in the trade. I can’t wait to find out who will win in London on the 28 June.”
