prue Safety Products, the manufacturer of fire and carbon monoxide safety solutions, has appointed a new Sales Director who will be tasked with taking the business forward. James King has worked for Sprue Safety Products for more than seven


years and has extensive industry-based knowledge of growing market share and working with a premium product. He will manage a newly- established team of 11 since the amalgamation of Sprue’s Fire & Rescue, Utilities and Trade departments. In his previous role, James was Sales Director for PBI Performance


Products, producer of heat and flame protection clothing and tools. He played a significant role in establishing the company in Asia through his dealings with Fire and Rescue Services


Commenting on his new appointment, James said: “I am delighted to be joining such a dynamic and exciting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to put my years of experience to good use, whilst staying at the forefront of the industry. “Products manufactured by Sprue have

Unitrunk appoints East Midlands BDM New role for Andy Slater at LG


nitrunk has appointed Neil Bullock to as Business Development Manager with responsibility for


working with customers and suppliers in the East Midlands.


Joining Unitrunk with more than 20 years’


experience in the mechanical and electrical (M&E) sector, Neil has specialised in cable management for the past 12 years, working for both suppliers and wholesalers. His experience includes supporting


customers from across the delivery chain, including contractors, consultants and end users in both the M&E and power processing markets. His career also includes a recent role with the Energy Industries Council (EIC). Along with established customer


relationships and an in-depth understanding of customers’ cable management requirements, Neil’s experience in the sector also means that he brings a varied knowledge of competitor products to Unitrunk, enabling


him to highlight the advantages of Unitrunk’s tool- free installation over more traditionally- designed systems. Neil’s remit at Unitrunk will involve developing customer relationships in the East Midlands across the company’s innovative cable management product ranges, including the re-engineered RIS (Rapid Installation Systems) such as EasyConnect cable basket and Uniklip cable tray.


He will also support his colleagues across the national Unitrunk sales team by leveraging his customer relationships nationally to demonstrate the time and cost-saving advantages of Unitrunk’s systems.
