The efusA9X is another compact and inexpensive module in efus form factor designed for easy interfacing and simple baseboard.


The module offers up to 1GB RAM, 1GB NAND Flash, and 32GB eMMC.


Available interfaces are 2 x Gigabit-Ethernet, 2 x USB, 2 x CAN, 2 x I2C, 2 x SPI, 4 x UART, GPIOs, 2 x SD-Card, I2S or AC97 for audio, PCIe as well as analogue and digital camera.


A WLAN/Bluetooth module with chip antenna or antenna socket is an option.


Displays can be connected via digital RGB and LVDS (up to WXGA) .


A resistive as well as a capacitive touch controller can be connected via the I2C interface.

Embedded PC cases for various form factors The increasing use of compact embedded PCs in various scopes


of applications of the electronics is an undisputed reality. For this purpose company Fischer Elektronik extended their extensive case programme by additional designs of the specific cooling fin cases for mounting single board computers. Modern design, optimal thermal management as well as various, practical and functional features distinguish the new cases for embedded PCs.


The one-sided open, U-shaped aluminium cases of the EMB case series have integrated, external cooling fins for better heat dissipation as well as internal guide channels for slidable square nuts or threaded inserts which are used for a mounting of the mainboard plate by means of variable lengths of the spacer bolts. Furthermore the integrated, lateral guide slots which are also integrated in the extruded profile ensure an accommodation of various mainboard formats such as Mini-ITX, Mini-STC, EBX, Nano ITX, NUC, EPIC, ETX/XTX, PC/104 as well as non-standard PCBs, electronic components or mounting plates. A bottom panel with 2 mm thickness as well as cover panels which are adjusted to the profile contour on the front complete the robust and resistant case construction. Designs with a special clamp mounting for mounting on mounting rails acc. to DIN EN 60715 or with screw-on fastening clips for a wall- and ceiling mounting as well as with a monitor bracket fitting to VESA MIS-D 75/100 are also offered. All size versions of the Embedded PC cases are available in three different surface designs (natural colour anodised, black anodised or their combination) as well as in four lengths (105, 150, 200, 250mm) as a standard. Additionally mechanical treatments, surface treatments and labels are realised acc. to customer specifications.

New 3.3V 20x4 COG display with DOUBLE HEIGHT characters


MMS Electronics Ltd has available an exceptionally versatile line of alphanumeric and graphic displays. 12 different COG/DOG display sizes to choose from. The alphanumeric displays are available is 1x8, 2x16, 3x16 and 4x20 (line x char). The EA DOGM204-A is a high-contrast easy-to-read STN and FSTN display. Supply voltage +3.3V without need for a negative voltage. Current only 250µA (Backlight off). The integrated SSD1803 offers 4bit, 8 bit, 4-wire SPI or 2-wire I²C interface. Bottom or top view direction. Selection of 3 different fonts: Cyrillic, English-Japanese and European. Display and backlights are ordered separately.


With 3 different backlights: white, amber and a dual green/red and 4 glass types up to 12 different display types can be specified. All available from stock even with MOQ 1. Without a backlight the displays are only 2mm thick and 5.8 mm including the LED backlight. View area 63x26mm.

Diamond Electronics announces the availability of a new range of waterproof and easy to clean keyboards for medical products, clean industrial applications including food processing, semiconductor manufacturing and laboratories, POS systems and public area data input and control.


The iMTC range of sealed keyboards are waterproof to IP68, easy to clean and may be washed in a dishwasher. The keyboards meet medical approval EN60601-1-2 and can be


supplied with an approved antimicrobial coating, nano silver or ionic silver antibacterial technology.


Full QUERTY keyboards and square number keypads are available with optional adjustable backlighting, keyboard on/off switch and may be connected to host systems via USB cable or wireless link. Keyboards may be supplied with a push sensor mouse or optical tracker ball.
