ANSMANN is a German company founded in 1991 by Edgar Ansmann.
As a system supplier, ANSMANN specializes in the development and manufacture of individual and mobile power supplies. It has over 20 years experience producing rechargeable batteries, battery packs, primary batteries, chargers and power supplies.
The company develops all components for hardware and software as well as mechanical data, according to customer requirements. It also certifies the systems used and works for equipment manufacturers in drive systems and medical markets. The portfolio ranges from standard system to user-interface with CAN bus, SM bus, PM bus and I²C.
In addition to bespoke systems for mobile energy, the company manufactures rechargeable batteries and battery packs (NiMH, Li-Ion, Li-Po, lead acid), and primary batteries (lithium and alkaline). It supplies system solutions (battery packs and charger) according to medical standards and develops power supplies and charging solutions (battery chargers and power supplies).
Development facilities and manufacturing are located in Germany and China. Logistic centres are in Europe, Asia and the USA. In the UK there are sales, technical and logistics teams who can modify standard products to suit customer requirements as necessary. Battery pack manufacturing is certified to DIN ISO 13485 for medical applications. Housings, colour or performance can be customized to suit the customer’s individual needs.
