Sister act

The acting bug runs deep in the Sharpe family. Sisters Stella and Bria (fifth and second graders, respectively) boast a combined decade with Miami Children’s Theater: Stella has performed in 20 MCT shows, and Bria in 12. We sat down with the talented sibs to talk nerves, characters and, of course, Hamilton.

What’s the best part of an MCT production?

Stella: Getting to experience different

roles and new ways to create the character that you’re playing.

Bria: Making new friends from other schools.

Do you get nervous before a show? BS: I do get nervous. To calm my nerves, I review my lines in my head.

What’s your dream production?

SS: Hamilton, of course! [To sing] “Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story.”
