MARCIA GAY HARDEN ON THE MAINSTAGE
Acclaimed in theater, television, and film, two-time Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden is also an ally for those with cognitive decline, and an author. Her book The Seasons of My Mother: A Memoir of Love, Family and Flowers, Marcia weaves stories of her adventures and travels with her mother, while reflecting on the beautiful spirit that persists even in the face of her mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. “There is beauty here, and tragedy,” said the New York Times. “Harden uses the persuasive strength of her voice to inhabit every line.”
She’ll be hosting the Argentum Awards and Heroes Work Here Celebration, sponsored by Benchmark, Monday, September 13, 4 PM – 5:30 PM
