Joel Nelson, president and CEO, and is re- sponsible for strategy and performance over- sight of the LCS development and LCS real estate companies for parent company LCS. His career includes leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, Security Capital Group, GE Capital, and Hammes Company. He is a board member of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at The University of Wisconsin, and a full member of the Urban Land Institute.
Jesse Jantzen has been appointed president and CEO of Lifespace Communities, based in West Des Moines, Iowa. Over a near- ly 30-year career, Jantzen has held similar positions with Ascension Living and Elder Care Alliance, various leadership positions with Life Care Services and, most As Jantzen transitions into his new role, Larry Smith, the company’s interim president and CEO, will transition back to his role as the company’s CFO.
Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based National Health Investors (NHI) has hired David Travis as its senior vice president and chief accounting offi cer. He will be replacing Ron Reel, who will be retiring December 31. Travis has over 20 years of accounting and fi nancial report- ing experience including over 12 years as a Chief Accounting Offi cer for publicly trad- ed healthcare REITs. Prior to joining NHI, Travis was the chief accounting offi cer with MedEquities Realty Trust and chief account- ing offi cer for Healthcare Realty Trust. He is a Certifi ed Public Accountant.
Chicago-based Pathway to Living has hired Mike Ulm as vice president of culture and brand loyalty. He will be responsible for evolving Pathway’s VIVA! philosophy, cul- ture and internal brand promise. Ulm will also develop and implement customer loy- alty programs. Before running an indepen- dent consultancy, Ulm was senior director, internal brand at Brookdale Senior Living.

Pegasus Senior Living, based in Dallas, Tex- as, has named Matt Ritter executive director of Parmer Woods at North Austin’s assisted living and memory care community. He has been a part of Pegasus Senior Living since September 2019, as the executive director for its Kenner, La., community, Laketown Vil- lage. Prior to that, he was executive director of assisted living and memory care commu- nities in Austin.
PointClickCare, based in Mississauga, Ontar- io, has acquired Co-Pilot, a robust analytics solution developed by Consonus Healthcare. The addition of Co-Pilot’s technology will provide PointClickCare customers with ex- panded capabilities to optimize their perfor- mance through data analytics.
Gaithersburg, Md.-based Sodexo received a score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the national benchmark- ing survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality.
Welltower, based in Toledo, Ohio, was named to the 2020 Bloomberg Gender-Equal- ity Index, making the second consecutive year it has been included. The GEI tracks the fi nancial performance of public companies committed to supporting gender equality through policy development, representation, and transparency.
MICHELE BAIN
Vi, based in Naples, Fla., has appointed Michele Bain to the position of care center administra- tor for the Bentley Care Center. In her role, Bain oversees all operations of
the care center, from dining service to nurs- ing care. Bain has served as an administrator for skilled nursing facilities in Florida for nearly 20 years. Vi has also been recognized by Chief Learning Offi cer magazine as a recipient of the 2020 LearningElite designa- tion, for the 10th consecutive year. Vi was ranked third overall, the fi fth consecutive year Vi has been recognized among the top fi ve highest-ranked companies.

Pat Mulloy, managing director, Commodore Capital, LLC was elected to serve as the new chairman of the Argentum Board of Directors. Most recently, he served as vice chairman on the board.

Timothy J. Buchanan, president and CEO, Legend Senior Living LLC, will serve as immediate past chairman.
Additionally, three new directors were elected to the board: Brenda J.
