With its white ceramic architecture, sculpture garden, tranquil ponds and views over Dunkirk Beach, the LAAC (Lieu d’Art et Action Contemporaine) is an arts centre that fi rmly places you in the creative mood well before you even step inside. It contains a collection of over 1,500 artworks from the second half of the 20th century including the unmissable Car Crash by Andy Warhol and Appel Circus by Karel Appel. Interactive exhibits and activities ensure that the gallery appeals

One of the largest regional museums in France, this impressive building – in the style of the Second Empire; when it was built it was known as Musée Napoléon – displays collections from prehistory to the modern day.
