Yasemin Sunbul is senior engineering area manager of Openreach
Yasemin was the winner of the leader award in Lancashire Business View’s 2020 Sub36 awards. Her future goal is to be the CEO of a FTSE100 company and leading a business which is inclusive and strives for sustainability and ethical decision-making.
Amy Stokes, partner at Forbes
Amy is an experienced employment solicitor who trained with Forbes and qualified in 2009. She advises across a full range of employment matters, working with clients in a variety of industry sectors including retail, hospitality, manufacturing and financial services.
Shakira Musarat, relationships director at Barclays
Shakira works in the Barclays corporate team as a relationship director managing a portfolio of larger corporate clients with complex financial needs mainly across east Lancashire. She has been with the organisation for more than 20 years.
Jonathan Finch, group sales director, Sales Geek
Jonathan is co-founder of Lancashire-based global service and training business Sales Geek. The award-winning company offers sales training, online sales courses and sales consultancy from its base in Blackburn.

Hannah Churchman, 27
Managing director, accessplanit
Hannah joined
Lancaster-based training management software provider accessplanit in 2014 as a technical sales executive. She played an instrumental role in the company’s growth, including breaking into the Northern American market. She was promoted to director of operations in January 2019 and then managing director in April of this year when Dave Evans took a step back from his day- to-day duties to become executive chairman. accessplanit recently completed a successful brand launch, has grown for the tenth successive year and achieved record profits.
Stuart King, 31 Managing director, Blackpool Resort
Stuart’s company, Blackpool Resort, acquires derelict properties in the town and renovates them. Houses and bed-and- breakfasts are converted into thriving local businesses and his portfolio currently covers 250 beds in the town. When the Covid-19 pandemic closed down the tourism industry, Stuart contacted the local NHS trust and offered up his rooms to staff from the nearby Blackpool Teaching Hospital.
Mark Long, 34
Master distiller, Brindle Distillery
Mark played a key role in helping his
father-in-law, Gerard Singleton, to diversify his farming business interests and create Brindle Distillery. He brought to the table experience working within the food industry, including production, sales, marketing and buying, which helped the fledgling business establish a range of popular drinks, most notably Cuckoo Gin.
Ben Crompton, 27
Managing director, CarNow Vehicle Leasing
After working in new
and used sales for companies including Audi and Mercedes-Benz, Ben launched his own business in late 2017. CarNow specialises in the lease of new cars and commercial vehicles with more than 20,000 live offers available to customers. The Chorley-based company has grown ever since its inception and experienced record sales in March 2021.

Coggin, 27 Owner, Coggin Group
Sam joined the family business in 2011, just three years after the
farming firm had been forced to pivot to a more secure industry - office furniture. The Coggin Group now offers furnishing, furniture refurbishment and office clearance services to the private and public sectors, placing an emphasis on sustainability. With Sam at the helm, the company has upcycled more than 100,000 pieces of office furniture and diverted more than 150,000 used furniture products from landfill, while doubling its turnover over the last three years.
