Volunteering at the Trust


More than 300 volunteers regularly give their time to support the work of the Trust, with most volunteering at least once a week. Supporting the Friends is just one of many roles for our volunteers.


In a recent survey, three quarters of Trust staff said that volunteers make their jobs easier and two thirds said volunteers have a positive effect on their morale.

In June 2016, Imperial College Healthcare Charity took over the management of volunteering at the Trust and is working on a new strategy to expand and enhance our volunteer programme.
