BS Journal: Tell us about yourself and how you came to set up Kabbage.
Kathryn Petralia: My background (for the last 20 years anyway) is in financial services, technology and e-commerce. Kabbage is the seventh startup I have either been a founder of or in which I have been involved, so it was a natural progression.
IBS Journal: What have been the major highlights and challenges thus far?
KP: One of the biggest highlights has been the response our customers have had to our product. The number of customers who have contacted us to share how our line of credit helped their business has been mind boggling. Small businesses represent 50% of our nation’s GDP and 75% of new jobs, so having this kind of an
