Advanced Remarketing Services

Advanced Remarketing Services is the developer and owner of the mBid®

application for buyers of

total-loss and low-value vehicles. “mBid®

was developed after consulting with buyers nationwide,” said Joseph Hearn, President & CEO, Advanced Remarketing Services, Inc. “Bidders wanted to compete locally for vehicles without the high online and auction fees. Buyers needed to be able to see the cars that interested them and not be distracted by units they can’t use.

buyers to sift through opportunities. Our buyers out- line their appetite and we do the sifting for them. We designed the application to be easy to use and connect bidders to the cars they are looking for while still offering the lowest fees in the segment.” According to Hearn, mBid®

buyers with the opportunity to bid the vehicles that best suit their appetite. He says, “mBid®

that wasted attention is wasted money and provides a host of customization options to make better use of our bidder’s time and attention.”

Buyers establish a profile based on location, type of

vehicle and select a communication method. Bidders can activate tools to electronically compile bids based on: distance, type, or gross vehicle weight (GVW). mBid®

users are presented opportunities that fit their

appetite and aren’t required to sift through items that don’t fit their specific needs. Users can communicate pickup information, review purchases, and receive bidding recommendations through the application. “mBid®

is free to use and easy to get started,” said Hearn. “Just electronically review the buyer agreement and standards, provide license, and proof of insurance. Then, a member of our buyer relations team will work with the buyer or rep to customize a buyer experi- ence.”
