KEYNOTE SESSIONS: TAP MUSIC

The highly-respected winners of Manager Of The Year at the 2020 Music Week Awards will open proceedings at our first ever virtual Tech Summit by talking about their groundbreaking and acclaimed livestreams with Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Dermot Kennedy, and more. Here, Ben Mawson, Ed Millett and the Tap Music team will join Music Week to discuss how they married artistic vision and new technology to deliver a new blueprint for modern album campaigns.

NAPSTER GROUP

Steven Hancock, co-founder and chief relationship officer of Napster Group joins the Tech Summit to discuss the power of combining audio and visual streaming for a one-of-a-kind, future platform of hybrid entertainment services. The launch of the new Napster Group will see the development of the first ever music entertainment platform to combine immersive visual content and music streaming. Hancock will share their insights around streaming in the pandemic through the MelodyVR platform, building Covid-secure studios in London and Los Angeles enabling artists to continue performing and the strategy behind the acquisition of Napster.

TIKTOK

In just two years, TikTok has revolutionised pop culture and music, ushering in a new era of creativity, discovery and self-expression; becoming an indispensable partner for the industry, from breaking new hits and artists, to revitalising back catalogues. Closing this year's Music Week Tech summit, Paul Hourican, TikTok's UK head of music operations, will challenge pre-conceived ideas of what TikTok is, what

it does and outline the opportunities for all artists. From cultural trends, artist and music discovery to a space where creativity can flourish and inspire others, TikTok is the place where music starts and lives for its engaged and growing community.
