TERRITORY West Star Aviation announces Rob Jolly has joined its team as regional sales manager for the Western territory covering Arizona, Nevada and California, eff ective Aug. 8, 2016. Rob is taking over for Terry Lutrick who announced his retirement earlier this year. Jolly obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aviation Technology from the University of Central Missouri. He started his career in the industry as a senior buyer at Sabreliner Corporation where he was responsible for material and parts procurement in support of the Boeing 707 Joint Stars and Gulfstream C-20 programs. Jolly transitioned into sales when he joined Midcoast Aviation/Jet Aviation in 2000 as a regional sales manager. At Jet Aviation, formerly known as Midcoast Aviation, Jolly’s responsibilities included aircraft maintenance, avionics upgrades and interior refurbishment sales in the Midwest and, most recently, the Western territory.

APPOINTMENTS Kearns Aerospace Maintenance (KAM), a member of The Kearns Group (TKG), an aviation consulting and MRO company, continues to build its team with the addition of Larry Miller as Quality Assurance (QA) director and the promotion of Billy Mitchell to VP of Operations. As VP of Operations, Mitchell will


be responsible for running KAM’s 100,000-square-foot facility and overseeing its day-to-day operation. With over 10 years of experience, his previous roles have seen him work for key players specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Bell, Eurocopter and Sikorsky rotary-wing aircraft for army, navy, air medical, department of state, commercial and municipal operators. To further support the business’


growth, KAM has also expanded its team with the appointment of Larry Miller as QA director. Miller joins KAM with over 20 years of quality management experience in aviation, including manufacturing, component repair, and aircraft services. In his new role, he will be leading the eff orts to ensure quality processes are implemented and followed in accordance with FAA regulations.
