I’m pleased to report that Arbella had a very profitable 2016. We closed the year with a combined ratio of 97.1 percent and rebuilt 94 percent of surplus lost to the extreme weather of 2015. This strong performance and our disciplined risk management were acknowledged by AM Best when they reaffirmed our A- (Excellent) rating in the fall of 2016.
