An important part of our culture is our focus on employee holistic well-being. Our health benefits, retirement planning, workplace flexibility, and emphasis on employee development are important to employees. Equally as important, however, is providing programs in support of wellness and fitness.


Our on-site fitness center is state of the art, complete with daily exercise classes and a personal trainer. Programs are offered company-wide, and our on-site health and nutrition teams meet regularly with employees for support and counseling on diet and stress relief. Tis past year, we were honored to dedicate our center to our founding father, Francis X. “Frank” Bellotti, vice chairman of Arbella’s board of directors. Te FXB Fitness and Wellness Center is a tribute to Frank’s lifetime commitment to health and fitness.


Employee wellness is about more than just physical fitness. Te Arbella Activities Committee continued to provide many opportunities for employees to have fun and support causes important to them, including our annual Pink Day Fundraiser, which raised $47,274 for breast cancer research. We introduced an employee committee to support ShoutOut, our company blog, which gives our employees even more of a voice in shaping our culture and community. As a result, ShoutOut achieved its highest participation numbers to date.


Trough our designation as the Official Auto Insurance Partner of the Boston Celtics, we participated in the team’s Home Court Makeover program and brought


Celtics player Avery Bradley to meet fans in local neighborhoods and community centers. Additionally, we leveraged our strong partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute by participating in many fundraising events, including its annual Scooper Bowl, and welcoming two leading medical experts to speak to employees about cancer prevention as part of our “Doc Talk” series.
