Rugged Video is ushering in a new era of fl ight tour video. Onboard video is a cornerstone in the profi tability of tour

operators, adding tens of thousands, and in some cases millions of dollars in annual revenue.

The latest major development has been GPS Automation. GPS Automation allows for more complex videos featuring soundtracks and narrations, titles and credits, and camera changes created in-fl ight without any input

from the pilot. The pilot can now focus on giving the best possible tour and on the safety of passengers, while the GPS takes care of the video.

Once on the ground, the process of distributing videos to passengers has been dramatically streamlined. Videos are now automatically uploaded and guests are sold a four-digit access code to view and share their videos on any internet enabled device. This increases sell-t hrough and doubles video revenue through marketing exposure while increasing customer referrals.

ease-of-use to the helicopter cockpit. Confi gurable for multiple helicopter types, the system consists of multiple 14.1-inch, high-resolution multi-function displays that off er pilots more information without clutter or confusion.

Featuring an intuitive, graphical interface and easily confi gurable display windows, Pro Line Fusion increases “heads up, eyes out” time for the pilot by presenting the right information at the right time. The system also off ers an industry-fi rst “touch what you want to change” interactive touch-screen control on all fl ight displays instead of just one or two control panels.

DR3 diversity receiver is built for the most demanding fi xed- receive and portable applications, and is the fi rst receiver to off er a built-in IP diversity switch and advanced antenna sharing features.

In many applications, a single receiver site may not be able to cover a desired area. With its integrated IP diversity capabilities, users can connect additional remotely located receivers via broadband IP to the DR3. No operator intervention is required to ensure that the best possible video is available. System management is made easy though a single Web page interface.

Highly scalable, the DR3 allows users to daisy chain up to eight receivers to share the same set of antennas. Each DR3

In addition, the system features fully integrated HTAWS and HSVS with market leading terrain resolution optimized for specifi c helicopter operating requirements. Pro Line Fusion truly represents the next generation of helicopter avionics – but available today.
