“There aren’t too many people like us. We represent the fourth generation of


mushroom growers in Chester County. The story started with my grandfather who left Italy

in 1915 to work hard and build a new life in America. He started picking mushrooms at a farm owned by another family, just like many Mexican immigrants who come here nowadays. Within a few years, he was in


business for himself. His three sons, including my father, followed him, and my two brothers and I followed on in turn. My adult children have recently also come aboard. Our family value is still hard work
