Business Partners

The University of Northampton is committed to supporting the community, using staff and student expertise to provide business and enterprise related advice.

The University Centre for Employability and Engagement (UCEE) work with the public and third sectors to develop strategic partnerships with organisations in local, national and international communities that provide ‘win win’ relationships for the organisation, its community and stakeholders, the student and the University of Northampton by developing innovative paid and unpaid opportunities for students to gain employability skills and enhance their experience.

Sharing resources, skills, time and expertise, we have a number of community initiatives to work towards meeting a social or environmental need and providing students with the opportunity to develop themselves as leaders of the future in a socially innovative way.

Our partners are varied and include large, national and international organisations such as Macmillan Cancer Care, Rugby Football Union, the Canal and River Trust and Santander. Local schools include The Parker E-Act Academy, The Duston School and others. Other local organisations involved include St Andrew’s Healthcare, Northampton Borough Council, Northampton Volunteering Centre, Autism Concern, SSB Youth Group and many others.
