Employability
We are committed to ensuring that our academic and extra-curricular experiences provide our students with all the knowledge and skills they need to achieve success in their chosen career.
96 per cent of our students from full-time courses are in work or further study six months after graduating*. Our courses are developed in consultation with businesses in order to meet the needs of the industry and we have strong partnerships with some of the country’s biggest employers.
Work placements, industry live projects linked to studies and options to study abroad, provide valuable learning opportunities to our students in the workplace. Many of our graduates have started their own businesses across a number of sectors and industries.
The University of Northampton is proud to be shaping the community and preparing our graduates for the future.

Adam Niazi Accounting and Finance BSc (Hons)
“The academic aspects of my course combined with volunteer roles organised through the University has boosted my confidence, developed my networking skills and enhanced my CV. These experiences helped me to stand out from the crowd when applying for a graduate job as a Business Analyst at Barclaycard.
The networking opportunities available while studying were really beneficial; I’m already creating a little black book of business contacts to help develop my business, Business Creator, which provides aspiring business owners with a complete business solution package for an affordable monthly fee.
The University of Northampton is the place to be for students who want the whole package, a good degree, practical work experience and industry contacts ready for a successful career.”
