International Student Support Meet and Greet


Students’ Union


The University offers a free Meet and Greet service for international students starting in September and January. Students who sign up for this service will be met at Heathrow Airport by University staff and brought directly to the University by coach.


Welcome Week


This takes place immediately prior to the start of your course and provides information about living in the UK including opening a bank account, obtaining a part-time job and registering with a doctor. Welcome Week also contains a range of social activities to help you relax and meet other students.


The Students’ Union provides a range of social and sporting activities, as well as providing advice and guidance on all areas of student life.


Careers Guidance


All students can access our Careers Guidance team to provide advice in achieving career goals, as well as help finding part-time work and volunteering opportunities.


Religious Provision


The University has a Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, comprised of chaplains from a number of denominations and faiths, which serves the whole University community.


Our mission is to help every student at the University of Northampton have the best possible university experience. We provide a range of personal support services to ensure that you are supported in all aspects of your university life.
